X299 G7- Ram issues / Code 55

Go to solution Solved by Haro,

Clear the cmos.

Try with one stick at a time. And try re seating the cpu.

Check the socket for any bent pins. Or check the cpu for any damage. Specifically any damage for the memory channels.

Hey guys, I slapped together a x299 PC today. Everything was working great until I saw that there was only 32GB of ram hooked up in my machine. The motherboard and software detects 4 slots being used, but everywhere it said “32GB” instead of the proper 64. I decided to reseat the ram, and got error code 55. Ever since I’ve been trying different configurations and it’s always error code 55. Tried clearing cmos but no luck

Reseat CPU. Try adjusting the pressure the waterblock puts on the CPU.
