I recently purchased a Ryzen 5 2600x cpu and it can with the Wraith Spire cooler and I have a A320M-H MOBO and when I try to screw in and mount the cooler into the motherboard the screws will not screw down into the motherboard. I have the correct screw driver but the cooler has spirals on the screws which Does not allow the screws to screw down. Can anyone help me??

Is the backplate mounted correctly behind the board? You need to screw it into the backplate, not into the motherboard.

The screws should go into the holes with a little bit of pressure.

Tighten the screws down in a cross pattern (i.e. top right, bottom left, top left, bottom right) a few turns at a time.

Theyre spring loaded. You need to apply some pressure to screw them down into the backplate. Once they bite into the backplate, the springs compress as you screw

Make sure you apply equal pressure, screwing them down in an X pattern (opposite corners)
