will a noctua NH-D15 sufficiently cool a ryzen 9 3900x?

I do alot of cpu intensive stuff so I'm not shure

You don’t even need that big a cooler but it will definitely do it.  Ryzen runs a lot cooler than 8th 9th or 10th gen.  Doesn’t really overclock in a worthwhile way though.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

Then I wouldn’t even bother.  Or maybe get a gammax or an esports or some other lower end 4 pipe.  No more than $30
