You'll probably want to grab an R5 3600 and a GTX 1060. As far as I know, DaVinci Resolve uses the CPU more than GPU (and a higher frequency CPU at that). You'll also want to get at least 16GB of fast RAM. Remember, your software has to store every single frame, uncompressed. You'll also want a large SSD for your footage and your cache, because an editing software can only show the frames as quick as the Hard Drive can sever them. It's actually better to have your footage on a separate SSD, but that's not too cost-effective. An important thing to remember is that, except for some parts, a good gaming PC is also a good editing PC.

Of course, this is all coming from my experience with Premiere Pro, so DaVinci might be a bit different.

If an R7 1700 or 2700 are way cheaper buy those.

Any used GPU with 8GBs of VRAM will be fine, 390/RX 470-580 or better

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

How much better is the 2-SSD solution? I just installed a 1 TB WD Blue in the only M.2 slot on my board. I could add a SATA drive. I do minor Premiere and OBS work. A 10% speed increase would not be worth much at this stage, but 40% might be interesting. (Ryzen 3600, 32 GB of 3200 DDR4, Radeon Pro WX 3200).

It’s not much better, especially if your footage is small.
