RTX 2060 troubleshooting

manicmoustache

Build:

MSI RTX 2060 Ventus

Ryzen 5 3600

Gigabyte AB350M-DS3H

When I turn on my PC, the monitor turns on with a black screen then it displays "no signal". This happens again when windows starts (I tell by the startup sound). I have tried removing the graphics card and plugging into the motherboard but I don't think there are any onboard graphics. I'm currently looking at warranty.

try to use HDMI if your monitor is compatible because if you are able to hear the windows sound your dp might be dead or your monitors Dp port is dead or something is in it

Tried HDMI = worked

Tried 2 DP ports on the gpu = didn't work.

Well I guess I'm getting a new monitor. Thanks for your help.

Or not. Tried same cable with DP on another computer, and it worked. I guess it's the DP on the card.
