Oc post problems amd ryzen 5

Go to solution Solved by EXTRADODO,

You might need to reset CMOS.

I’m trying to oc my pc using amd software everything is set to auto I set the MHz to the max. Now it won’t post. Is it my power supply that hit its limit? My psu is the kratos m1 550b. I had psu problem in the past with it not posting because it was plugged into a power wing and I fixed it by using a straight wall outlet. Any help is welcome. Thx vlad

Why.

just unplug the battery on your motherboard for a while and turn off the PSU so it all discharges. maybe 5-15 minutes.

You're unliekly to get past 4.5ghz single core, 4.4ghz all core at like 1.375V which is about the max you want to run.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?
