My girlfriend's computer wouldn't start the other day I jumped into the bios the other storage drive and BluRay were showing not the Seagate with Windows 10 would like to keep as before or throw in a SSD is there a way to save the data mostly just Mortal Kombat X and 11 and Killer Instinct also the drive was a Windows 7 from 1 PC thrown into a hand me down PC upgraded to 10 if any of this helps.

If the drive has failed (which it sounds like it has) then there's not much you can do to retrieve the data aside from spending hundreds of dollars to send it to a specialised data recovery firm.

Woke up and saw a windows logo checking for errors but about an hour later was asking again for a drive with boot file when I get a replacement SSD am I going to install fresh 10 or fresh 7 then upgrade to 10 like I did before and would it be my key I used originally
