RAM buying help

right now i have 8gb ddr4 corsair cmk8gx4m1a240016r and i am planning to upgrade to 16 gb so will another same 8gb ddr4 be ok, will it have compatibility issue??

Technically it'll be fine, and should work for the most part, though mix and matching ram may and may not work. But for the most part it should be fine.

If you can, get the same module as before to minimize compatibility issues.

Hello guys, and sorry for posting here but im looking for some information too about ram, i did an upgrade yesterday from 16 gb ram to 32 gb ram 3200 mhz with the same brand and same timming, and i found out that i got some delays and import lags, i updated my bios aslo,

Can anyone tell me if my ram a bottleneck? 

System info : i7 8700k intel / rog strix z390 e gaming mobo / nvme samsung evo 500 gb / gtx 1080 ti 11gb oc!!!
