So after i spilled cola on my mouse (clever, real clever) Im in the market for a new one. I want something that are size wise similary to my roccat kone plus, and something with 6000-8000 dpi. I have been looking at the Steelseries Rival, corsair m65 and roccat kone xtd, though im not sure what i should get.

Do you have big hands? I have an issue with my pinky finger dragging across the mousepad and it annoys me to say the least, so I opted for a Mionix Naos 7000, not the 8000 model as the 7000 has a better sensor. It's also 16.8 M colour LED lit if youre into that sort of thing

Still learning how to play Dota 2 :)

I like my K100... Mouse & Keyboard doesnt really need to be expensive(for me). But try the Anker 8200

As for a recommendation of a mouse, I'd say go with the Roccat Kone XTD. It has a 8200 DPI sensor and has fantastic ergonomics especially if you have large hands. Mine are about medium, and I bounce back between using this and the RAT.9 from Cyborg. If you are in the market for a $100+ mouse, I'd recommend the RAT.9. You can't beat its customization features and it is just a fantastic mouse all around. As for the Kone XTD, the only thing I am not a big fan of is the LED control on the software. It doesn't work. At all. The lights do whatever they feel like doing at the time regardless what you set in the software. Other than that, I'd give it two thumbs up.

Minix naos 7000 is a mouse I have been looking at, but I have heard some really bad things about their software. Can you confirm that?

What genre of games do you play? I personally own the Corsair M60 and I thoroughly enjoy using it. It is comfortable for a wide range of hand sizes and the basic but convenient feature set is useful without being overdone. The build quality is also excellent as is typical of Corsair products in my experience. The M65 is the same in terms of physical appearance with the exception of the scroll wheel which supposedly has more heft to it and the sensor with has been upgrade to 8200 dpi from a 5500 dpi.

I play mostly fps, moba and rts games. though i never use macros. I kind a like the leather thing on the Rival though. Looks really comfy
