slow connection on shares

i had 4 hdds on my pc i moved them to another pc then made a hotspot point from my main pc and connected to it from 2nd pc

now using administrative shares(c$ d$ etc)i tried transfering data its so slow 

my main pc has a 300mbps wireless nic 2nd one has 100mbps 

these are not fast but speeds im getting are terrible 

100-200kb then after some time it gives me an error that the semaphore timeout period has expired sometimes just timeout even tho i can ping the other computer or browse files on it still very slow

first pc has 300mbps pci card second one is a something something usb 100mbps card 

also i cant use wired connection because the other computer is in the other room 

any ideas?

Honestly 50' patch cable and gaffer tape along the baseboards is the best answer, but also that USB dongle isn't actually gonna get you 100mbps, in my experience it's closer to 10.
