I don't really know if this is the right spot, but I've been having problems with my microphone recently on my PC, but since I got that working, I have to plug the mic into the back of my PC instead of the speakers, and my computer only recognizes headphones in the speakers plugged into the computer. Is there any way to change the location of where sound comes out of the computer? The picture attached is what I see in my sound system settings, and it shows that each one of the outputs are only available on the speakers, while the input is only available in the place I have it, which is not the speakers. Any tips?

realtek digital output is not an audio output afaik, the "Speakers" are the green ports on the back of your motherboard

plug in your audio device to the green port on the motherboard, and then right click "Speakers" and set it as default device

you should be able to hear a sound, if not, click on the volume icon on the bottom right of task bar

then click on the up arrow and select the appropriate output device

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

Yeah so I can hear the audio when I'm using mic / using another pair of headphones, the audio just doesn't go in my headphones. This is what I meant by plugged in the back - it's telling me to plug in some random jack that isn't anywhere near the speakers. (attached)
