a little too expensive for me, i'm looking at around 150-170 USD

what's so bad about it?

also how's this one Pixio PX247 24 inch 144Hz IPS 1ms AMD Radeon FreeSync Certified FHD Full HD 1920x1080 Premier Esports IPS Gaming Monitor, 3 Years Warranty https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08462DXV2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_taKiFbYEBJ5HN

87% srgb coverage is...not ideal, but i'm a color freak, the px247 is the same panel as the acer and asus model listed above.

The next step up would be this one

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313.TR9.TRC1.A0.H0.XAOC+24G2.TRS0&_nkw=AOC+24G2&_sacat=0 but it cost considerably more and pushes toward 1440p price ranges, out of all the monitors u listed the pixio px247 is the best bang for buck.

So I just bought my pc, and am currently using a 60Hz monitor, it's fine, perfectly smooth, and it works. What i want to do now is buy a 144Hz monitor, and I found a few options in price range: Sceptre 24-Inch Curved 144Hz Monitor https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MTMCNLX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_k7IiFbMC7KW8Y and the Asus VP249QGR 23.8” Gaming Monitor 144Hz https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083FMP35T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_-8IiFb71Q6B8K. which of these should i buy, or are there better ones in this price range, also i have a really nice stand that i'll use anyway, so that doesn't matter, also do i even need to buy one at all, i've heard people on here say that they use 60Hz, and are fine with it. idk i'll just take opinions there.

.

viotek's known for having the best monitors in that price range, i'm having trouble even finding the asus full color coverage specs which is usually a bad sign, the spectre one will look like crap, looking for other options, stay tuned.

Edit, found it, go with the asus model if u don't want a curved monitor.

acer model with the exact same panel as the asus

Personal recommendation atm is 1080p/144hz or 1440p/144hz ips depending on budget.
