AMD Ryzen 7 3700x...idle temp kinda high

Just started up my new build.
R7 3700x cpu
RTX 2070 super gpu

B550 Aorus Pro AC mobo
Noctua NH-D15s heatsink

For the last few hours, the PC has been on idle and the temp is jumping from 40c to as high as 55c. I dont think that is normal is it? when I'm gaming maxed out , the temp stay around 70c-75c..which is normal.
I havent done anything to the cpu, except change the ram setting. I try fix the fan curve in the bios but I couldnt move each temp/fan speed point..so I kinda gave up. I did mess around with MSI afterburner, adding +100 to core clock and +500 to memory clock and pretty much it.

I havnet had a PC in a few years so I dont know if its normal or not. been google told me idle jumping to 50c isnt normal :/  any advice?

I was gonna post this problem too. Mine is around 50-55c (idle).

Things I've done was mess around with MSI Afterburner too Fan Curve and undervolted GPU speed and OC'ed RAM Timings. Using 1usmus Ryzen Power Plan. I'm using DarkRockPro 4 and RTX 2080 Super. Ambient temp of the room is around 29-31c. While playing warzone CPU spikes up to 80c while GPU is around 60c. Is that normal?

that's quite low btw, you don't "NEED" it to be that low as long as it doesn't get too hot while under load

Perfectly normal.

Idle temps don't matter. Load temps do.

i mean ambient doesn't matter much as long as it's not insanely high, and running warzone on what i belive to be high graphics  with a high end card will run your cpu hot aswell, just make sure you have a good set of intake/outtake fans at the front/back/top

The spikes are cos of the boost mechanic of Ryzen.  Nothing to worry about.  They barely stay even 1 second at those boost temps before dropping down to mid to low 40's Celcius.

100% normal. I have found that mounting pressure is a big thing. With my 3700x with my old EK Supremecy block on it, I would idle in the 45-60c range and load temps at around 80c. With my new Optimus PC Waterblock, idle temps have dropped in the 40-45c range and load temps around 75c now. That said, its not an issue overall as long as you keep your load temps contained. Idle temps are only because at stock voltages, you are pushing 1.4-1.45v on average until a load is applied, then it drops significantly.

It is normal for Ryzen and not something to worry about, I'm running a R9 3900x on custom water with two 360 rads and it still idling at 54c. The 2080 Ti on the same loop idles at 36 with an ambient temp of 27c.

Oh okay I thought I have to undervolt my CPU too. So just to be sure, these settings are quite normal right?

Why? As said above. It's 100% normal.

My cpu idles at 55c. And as I said before. Idle temps don't matter. Load temps do. These. Are. Completely. Normal.
