Planning my first build

Budget (including currency): 20,000 MXN

Country: Mexico

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Minecraft, CS:GO, Portal, Fortnite

Hey guys! So I finally decided, I'm going to build a rig 90% similar to he one on "500 US AMD rig" that linus streamed last month. It's a pretty compelling rig, since I don't play AAA titles. I may want to dive into Warzone and Fortnite, but I love CS:GO, Portal and, most recently, Minecraft. And, I was wondering, if any of you guys had tried the SEUS shaders for raytracing on minecraft java. bellow is my parts list (if you're wondering, no, the rig is not 500 USD, it's closer to 900)

Here's my parts list:

UPDATE:

So, I met a guy in a LTT Fans Facebook group that happened to be from Mexico too, and helped me out with a way better parts list that are actually available here in Mexico and it's a better value overall. Would love to see your comments 🙂(Prices are in Mexican rubles)

3200G + graphics card from the get-go is imo a bit of waste of money, as the iGPU wont be used. On the other hand I'm not sure if you can find a 1600AF or 2600 for a similar price

1650's price to performance in most country is awful (as its performance is even worse than an RX 570) so it's rarely recommended. Also is standard height cards expensive? LP cards are half height, which means worse cooling as the cooler shrunk.

8GB DDR4 means possible upgrade in the future, would prefer just getting 16GB from the beginning but this isnt crucial

That HDD will be a big slow storage

If you're on the cheap, dont get PCIe SSDs. They feel the same during use as SATA SSDs. More capacity tends to be better value but there's only so far your budget would allow

Awful PSU

Get something better

Finally sb who picked a case that doesnt choke itself from the beginning

Also, how does it look for streaming?

There is NVENC in the graphics card on your side, VCE in the iGPU can also help, but forget streaming without hardware acceleration help

very informative thanks. What about grabbing NDI sources and just using the horse power to stream.

Also, I updated my parts list.
