Hi everyone,

I have a Corsair Carbide 678C computer case and a Asus ROG Strix B550 F-gaming motherboard and was wanting to know what kind of power supply am i going to need to run a amd ryzen 7 3700x or a ryzen 5 3600 and a asus rog strix geforce rtx 2070. I want a brand that is going to be reliable and have plenty of wattage. I was thinking 1000 watt but is that overkill? I'm also considering 850w as well. Thanks for help.

Yes, 1000 watts is overkill. You should be fine with even with 600w, 750w if you plan to overclock or want to futureproof. Use the following to choose your PSU:

What's your budget for the PSU?

A 1000W unit could probably power three 3700X+2070S systems at once - it'd be totally overkill and granted quite a pointless purchase.
