Memory and Mobo compatability

For the most part. Even if the ram is not in the QVL list it'll work just fine. 

At worst you'll have to do some tinkering but that's just about it.

PC: Motherboard: ASUS B550M TUF-Plus, CPU: Ryzen 3 3100, CPU Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34, GPU: GIGABYTE WindForce GTX1650S, RAM: HyperX Fury RGB 2x8GB 3200 CL16, Case, CoolerMaster MB311L ARGB, Boot Drive: 250GB MX500, Game Drive: WD Blue 1TB 7200RPM HDD.

 

Peripherals: GK61 (Optical Gateron Red) with Mistel White/Orange keycaps, Logitech G102 (Purple), BitWit Ensemble Grey Deskpad. 

 

Audio: Logitech G432, Moondrop Starfield, Mic: Razer Siren Mini (White).

 

Phone: Pixel 3a (Purple-ish).

Is there any way to test it out? Does "Ryzen compatible memory" help out? I don't know if all ram goes well with AMD?

Doesn't mean anything. Just means it was validated to work with an AMD cpu. But that doesn't say a whole lot.

As I said for the most part don't worry about the QVL list. 

And zen+ imc is better than zen 1's.

One of the reasons I have always purchased Crucial memory is that they have a tool on their site that provides you with correct match for your MoBo.  I've done about 15 builds and never had a memory problem in any of them.

Workstation PC Specs: CPU - i7 8700K; MoBo - ASUS TUF Z390; RAM - 32GB Crucial; GPU - Gigabyte RTX 1660 Super; PSU - SeaSonic Focus GX 650; Storage - 500GB Samsung EVO, 3x2TB WD HDD;  Case - Fractal Designs R6; OS - Win10

just keep that in mind if you buy high speed memory. For me the difference is tiny but having to go from 3600 to 3000 or 2933 would be a bit worse

For the most part. It's not something you should worry about.

Yeah I agree.

 

If you 100% need every bit of performance in your ram, then you should probably pick something in the QVL tho
