PC gets power but no monitor output...

wall03
Today the SATA cable came and the monitor power and stuff came, and I put it together.

It worked. I went to the BIOS and stuff, then attached the SATA SSD.

I got it up again and it was asking for an install drive. The SSD worked.

I turned off the computer and left to look for a USB drive to install it in. I came back to the computer to try to see the BIOS and configure dual channel RAM, but I didn't get a signal on the monitor. There still was power, the fans were on and I had RGB on the GPU (very subtle), but no signal.

After that happened, I cleared CMOs via the pins on the mobo, I reseated the GPU.

Still when the computer is turned on the fans turn on, CPU fan is on, GPU RGB is on, (there isn't an SSD but you don't need that to get to the mobo BIOS, right? It worked at first try before...) but no signal.

Specs:

Ryzen 5 3600
Sapphire RX 470 NITRO+
GIGABYTE DS3H B450
CORSAIR CV450
Silicon Power A55 SATA SSD 256GB

thank you so much

This happened to me & it ended up being the power supply. Faulty, replaced it and it worked fine afterwards.

I don't have return period but I do have 3 year warranty bc its a PSU. Don't have another PSU to confirm either.

I was told that if you already reseated everything that could be it & when you go to power it on everything "Powers on" but no signal to the monitor & you already checked the cable you are using & the ports.its almost always the PSU. Could be different for you!  Good Luck!
