A New psu

I have a dell inspiron 3670 and want to upgrade its power supply and add a gtx 1650. This would mean that I would need a new psu. Right now most of the new designs are top and bottom fans, however my inspiron has a side fan layout. Will it me ok to buy one with a top fan design. Would it cause any problems.

1. Non standard cables so you can't upgrade the psu

2. What psu is in there. Chances are you can just add in a 1650 directly as long as it doesn't need an extra power cable.

The motherboard does not have a standard layout for the pins. So the 24 pin connector won't work and the other 4 pin may not even be wired the same as a normal 4 pin.

Ok i see what you mean but my friend bought a 24 pin to 8 pin conenctor and it worked pin for him
