In order to answer this question, you'd have to actually tell us what device you're talking about. However, in most cases it'll be up to the manufacturer and/or software developer as to whether a device supports a specific feature.

Thanks! You'll want to check to see if your Windows 10 install on that motherboard supports Miracast or not.

hi i followed the steps and my computer said "Miracast: Available, with HDCP"

what does this mean?

It means your device supports Miracast with HDCP, according to Windows, at least. That being said, I just followed HP's far better guide at checking for Miracast support, and found that my PC does not in fact support Miracast despite what my own dxdiag results said.

You might want to check it following HP's guide, as yours may say the same message as mine, which means it's not supported.
