For the past couple days I've been trying to boot Ubuntu 16.04 (32 bits version) to an old pc. However, once I turn it on, it stops on this screen.

I've tried with two hard drives (a 320GB WesternDigital and a 1TB Seagate) but none of them worked. I've also used two pendrives with different boot programs (UNetbootin and Ruffus), but nothing changed.

This are my BIOS settings.

Update: It's on the same page. But I tried on my notebook and it worked, so it seems that it's the pc that's causing this issue.

that socket 478 system isn't worth anything after all but if you want to use it i suggest use tiny core (core plus) and burn it on a cd rom

Edited by mahyar

if it was useful give it a like :) btw if your into linux pay a visit here
