Hello.
Currently I just finished my PC build. Everything works fine, until I found that my 1st SSD (Seagate Firecuda 520 500GB PCie gen4, main boot OS, M2_1 slot) didn’t have same speed just like advertised or in any review that up to 5GBps. I only got around 3GBps which is the same like 2nd SSD (ADATA Sx8200 pro 1TB PCie 3, M.2_2 slot).

I already update BIOS and chipset with the latest one in amd site (2.07.14.327). But it still same result. It really bothers me since the speed different is quite far than it should be.

My Setup:

MSI MEG Unify x570

Ryzen 3900x

HyperX Fury RGB 32GB 3200MHz

Asus RTX 2080Super

Storages:

Seagate Firecuda 520 PCie gen4 500GB   >>>>>>  main boot OS, M2_1 slot)

ADATA Sx8200 pro 1TB PCie 3  >>>>>>>>>   M.2_2 slot

Transcend SSD SATA 128GB

WD Caviar Blue 2TB

Corsair RM 750 PSU.

I don't really understand setting in BIOS maybe anyone could have have any suggestion which one should check.

Thank you

Check the BIOS: Advanced Settings -> PCI Subsystem Settings -> PCIe SlotX Lanes Configuration

(manual page 61/62).

I tried all the setting, and (8x+8x) gave me better result (Read 4GB Write 3GB) but it affect BSOD when I tried to benchmark for the second time.

I also tried to switch the Firecuda to M2_2 slot but same result, benchmark drop to 900MB then BSOD.

There's bugs with SMI SM2262/EN drives (SX8200 Pro) on the X570 platform when used over the chipset, something I reported last year but got ignored. You want that drive (SX8200 Pro) in the primary/CPU M.2 socket (M2_1).

The M2_2 and M2_3 sockets are over the chipset, did you try the latter for the FireCuda?
