Right. A single product type. Not something that affects all of the cards, and has for a long time.

and need i remind you that Nvidia + Linux = $hit

Who's talking about Linux? Nobody. That's completely irrelevant.

I am sure you have the money for a nice 980 ti and a qhd or 4k monitor, but not everybody does.  I am 15 years old.  I am a 1080 gamer, and the vast majority of us gamers still are.  and for 1080 gaming AMD represents a phenominal value.

That doesn't mean you have to fanboy so hard over them.

If you are spending that sort of money on a high end X570 board then the Gigabyte X570 Aorus Xtreme is a better option due to the passive chipset design.

Guys,

Please stay on topic, I didn't create this thread for people to argue about silly things.

So my current plan.  I'm going Intel with a i5-10600K and middle of the line MoBo.  I'm doing this because right now the current gen CPUs seem to not be great and its looking like the Zen 3's and 11th gen will have big changes.  So I'm going to do a small upgrade now and then upgrade again when the new gen comes out at the beginning of the year.

I'll move my i5 I get now to my upstairs media PC.  Thanks guys.
