That is not normal but it’s also kind of awesome unless it’s happening because the cpu isn’t doing work. A cpu benchmark might be in order to make sure it’s actually processing the way it should.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Here is what I got. Not that experienced with this so can you tell me if this is okay or not.

UserBenchmarks:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 - 72.3%
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1660-Ti - 60.1%
SSD: Kingston A400 120GB - 40.3%
HDD: Microsoft Storage Space Device 999GB - 82.5%
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000 C15 2x8GB - 103.5%
MBD: MSI B450M GAMING PLUS (MS-7B87)

Thanks

Please don't use this pile of bs.

Ran the Cpu-z stress test for about 30 mins and it got to 53.

Update the bios. And only use hwinfo64 or ryzen master to monitor ryzen temps correctly. Don't bother with hwmonitor. Then use a stress test like cinebench r20. Or prime 95 and check temps.

If scores are normal. And performance is fine then that's great.

PC: Motherboard: ASUS B550M TUF-Plus, CPU: Ryzen 3 3100, CPU Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34, GPU: GIGABYTE WindForce GTX1650S, RAM: HyperX Fury RGB 2x8GB 3200 CL16, Case, CoolerMaster MB311L ARGB, Boot Drive: 250GB MX500, Game Drive: WD Blue 1TB 7200RPM HDD.

Peripherals: GK61 (Optical Gateron Red) with Mistel White/Orange keycaps, Logitech G102 (Purple), BitWit Ensemble Grey Deskpad.

Audio: Logitech G432, Moondrop Starfield, Mic: Razer Siren Mini (White).

Phone: Pixel 3a (Purple-ish).

Will try updating bios later. Cinebench R20 score was around 2370, and temps got to 55 according to both ryzen master and hwinfo.

That's slightly lower from what I can see but nothing significant. Try other stress tests and if it's results are normal then that's fine.

Also make sure xmp / docp is enabled.

Downloaded Prime95. Which test should I run? Small FFT?

Welp, ran it for 20mins or so and highest I got was 57.3c

If it performed normally then it's fine.

User benchmark is not really a benchmark app.  It’s supposed to be one but it winds up not really working that way.  it’s got massive problems.  It’s this weird combined thing.  It does have benchmark in the name though I guess.  I was thinking of something more like firestrike or passmark (though I forget what firestrike measures. It might be gpu) Something that will produce a raw score which can then be compared rather than a percentage which is near useless.  Benchmarking software in general isn’t very good. All it does is measure the ability of a machine to run that benchmark, But that can be useful for looking for severe problems.  The idea is your temps aren’t just low theyre really low.  This can mean something unusually good is going on but could also mean that the machine isn’t really functioning to spec either.  So the idea is to try to see if if it’s actually doing work at a level compared to other machines.  such a thing would stress the machine and if the performance numbers were really low as well it would indicate a problem.  Prime95 and furmark create a lot of heat but they don’t really measure performance. Userbenchmark isn’t very good for that (or much of anything else because they mess with numbers). Were trying to figure out if the machine performs normally.  If you’re getting performance numbers in line with what would be expected for your machine then you just have something insanely good going on.   I think it unlikely.  Ryzens are usually up near 80c or more under full load.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.
