Looking for the right headphones for me

Right now i have a pair of Beats Studio's that i like but i feel that i would be happier with tight punchy bass. I DO want a fair amount of base. Like Beats amount or more. I also am pretty particular on the styles of headphones i like and i would prefer a removable audio cable.

If you wants beats amount of bass you are looking for the wrong thing. Beats have blown out bass. It is too much bass. I would get the DT 990 because they are really good bassy headphones for the price. Also EQ can fix a lot of the problems

People can recommend headphones all day, but honestly the best thing you can do is go to a store and try them out yourself.
Everyone's hearing is different.

VModa makes some very bass oriented headphones.

raise the preamp by a tiny amount and lower 32, 64, and 125 bands until it sounds like how you want it to.

flat, or raise mids a bit because those are probably ass too

My suggestion would be getting a pair of V-Moda M100's (i currently own) and then customize them to your liking before you order them. They give you the option to switch the base color of the headphones and the side plates which are removable. They are fantastic with clear mids and highs with tight bass. Also they are small, compact, fold and are built like a tank without being heavy.
