I run a website with some friends, and most of the time i am the only one needing server-side access (im hosting it).

Right now it is running Ubuntu 12.04 with Apache, and the files for the site are in the home folder for my user. However, one of my friends needs server-side access (we do everything over ssh). Is there any way i can give her full access to the files in my home folder from her own account? I would really like to avoid moving the files to another location, i want to deal with Apache's settings as little as possible. Maybe something to sync the folder to her home folder?

Or would it be better to convert my personal account into a general "administrator" account for both of us to use?

Thanks,

Shouldn't you just be able to make a separate account for her, and then give her permission to edit the files in your home directory?

The following sites may help;

Thanks. This helps a ton. I got everything quickly figured out
