thief trobleshooting

hey, does thief need very high end specs or high end specs to run at all, as i have acer aspire intel core i5-4200u 4th gen with intel hd graphics 4400 and 2g memory and 8g ram, and it handles every game a threw at it from starcraft to far cry 3 on high settings. but when i go to open thief it will start i click start or continue, and it will load the first mission, but it will play the opening cinematic for about 2 seconds then the thing will close or say windows not responding i have even tried lowering the setting to the lowest but still get the same problem, it will open but crash as the game play starts, dosent get through the cinematic please help

Are you trolling??? You must be running extremely low resolutions to get far cry 3 running at high on integrated graphics.

i run it on medium or high, i have even had it on extreme, and it still worked got about 5 frames but never shut down like thief is

far cry 3 on high needs a lot more than integrated graphics! unless your running it at 300x300. and even then it would be choppy.

5fps is not gaming its watching a scenic slide show

just not on the recommended but meets the min.  thief is far off the min

well that explains why thief aint runnig but far cry 3 runs like a dream, not choppy the only time it was choppy when i set it too extreme, my laptop model is acer aspire v5-573p
