"For Gamers" - Products

First time poster, long time watcher of all things LTT so I am not sure if this is the right place to post.

 

It seems everything these days has 'For Gamers' slapped on it. From monitors, to mice, to internet service providers. The weird thing is I just saw an advert for Norton 360 for gamers! Somehow this antivirus and privacy monitoring software is only for gamers! I don't understand! Is anyone else still bemused by this and becoming tired of how products are bein marketed. Thought it might be another segment you guys would want to do.

Are these products really for gamers or is this some kind of plow to make us feel special so we will buy their product?

Do you think it will ever end or will the trend only continue to get worse? Will it ever stop? Will they start selling shoes for gamers? Soap for gamers? These shoes will give you more FPS and make sure you win! This soap will make you smell so bad your competition will not be able to concentrate which will make you victorious!

 

Pretty soon they will start marketing vegitibles for games. Broccoli for gamers. Need the edge on your competition in your next gaming session, eat Gamer Broccoli!

‘gaming’ keyboards are poorly made and have poor quality switches, but with increased prices due to rgb and the brand names.
