My computer doesn't display

Hello, so i recently bought a p8z68-v GEN3 and it simply doesnt turn on...

But i have this old (well they re both old) motherboard called tp67b+ 6.2 and it works just fine with my stuff.

 

 

I tried with a i7 3770k (stock 3.50)

12GB Ram (HyperX Blu)

GPU: gtx 970 4gb

PSU: VX 650W (NOX)

3770k is supported since bios version 3203

 

if the bios is older than that, it won't support the newer cpu and you'll have to find an older cpu (2000 series) to update the bios

thanks for ur answer @boggy77, the thing is, i tried as well with a i5 2500k (stock 3.30) it doesnt turn off quick as the i7 3770k, but it doesnt display image on my monitor too

Clear the cmos. 

Inspect the socket. And re seat everything.

@TofuHarotoalready did that, i even tried to power up with a i3 3240 and it didnt display anything

I'm going to assume you bought it used. 

Can you contact the seller ? Ask if it's broken.

you mean this cpu that i just tried?? it works on my older motherboard.
