Which PC price points are considered what level for example "$500=low end" that kind of thing, anybody got any ideas

$500-$750: low-end

$750-$1250: mid-range

$1250-$2000: high end

$2000+: very high end.

500 to 600 bad

600 to 700 good

700 to 800 ok

800 to 900 better 

900 to 1000 better step 1

1000 to 1200 better step 2

1200 to 1500 Best

1500 to 2000 WOW

2000 to 3000 Perfection 

3000 + Excellent

I have 1600 under my desk and 1000 on my desk. Don't forget that a tower is what you need but the peripherals is what you interact with

Indeed. Prices here are alot higher than in the US (Scandinavia) so when people in the US hear about what I paid for my rig, they fall backwards.. But well.

That being said, if you don´t buy current generation, then you can still make a pretty good PC without paying to much.
