First off, wait a few months for new hardware to release. Secondly, sli is pretty much dead so adding a second 2080ti is pointless. What country are you in and what is your budget? We can help with a better part list.

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

To answer your question, yes on all counts. To pose one of my own, what on God's green earth are you doing that requires a pair of 2080 Ti cards?

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

What is your budget?
Do you need to build now or can you wait a few months?

To be honest, I probably won’t remember in 2-3 months when parts are available. Could you either comment here or start a new thread when they are released?

To everyone saying wait a few months, they're absolutely right.

But if you keep waiting, you'll end up going through a few generations.

The best time to buy is ~1 month after retail release. Enough time for the statistics and any issues to be uncovered, but new enough that you won't be waiting for the next ones.

SETUP:

  • Ryzen 9 3900XT @ 4.3 all core (peak core voltage 1.3)  (water)
  • 2x8GB TeamGroup 8Pack Ripped Edition 3600mhz CL14
  • RTX 2080ti OCd @ +150 core, +1000 memory (water)
  • Aorus B550 Elite (rev1)

Personal Bests:

  • Cinebench R15: 1785  1883 (Aug 2020)
  • Cinebench R20: 4136  4243 7125 7550 (Feb 2021)
  • 3DMark/Time Spy: 10,238 13,106 13,993 14,149 15,295 (Feb 2021)

11th gen intel has still not been released. I know you aren’t building until December, can you wait until October to get a partslist? October 8th is when ryzen 4000 CPUs will be announced. If not, I can make a partslist later today.
