Laptop Screen Upgrade

Go to solution Solved by hconverse02,

theres no way to upgrade a built in monitor in a laptop because the company will most likely not sell you the parts and even if they do, they will overprice the fuck out of it.  i suggest getting an external 144hz monitor for under $200

I want to upgrade my heliios 300 2019's display panel. Unfortunately its 60 hz and i want to go higher. I've already seen linus's video where he uses custom res application and even the brightness was not working. Is there a better solution for that?

You might be able to find a replacement display. That would require you opening it up and removing the current one. Then installing a new one. Its possible, but more work than I would do. I haven't fully verified this, but this display seems to work for yours and is 144hz.

TLDR; Its possible, but I wouldnt recommend it

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

Quote or tag me so I can see your response
