Hey Everyone!

I have got a serious problem (again) with my pc. The computer will not POST, on startup there only is 1 beep. Internet says this points to a "DRAM refresh failure". This PC already has a replacement mainboard after the last one had a sata controller fail (wouldn't recognize all SSDs, did not boot from the one it did see).

My question is, could it be another component that is causing the problems? I find 2 Mainboard failures in less than a year kinda weird.

I do have a second Ryzen PC to test all the parts in.

Thanks in advance.

Specs:

Ryzen 2700X

Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite

Nvidia Quadro P4000

32GB (2x16GB) Corsair vengeance LPX 3000MHZ

500GB m.2 SSD

500GB SATA SSD

Bequiet! Pure Power 11 600W

Try with one stick at a time.

Try with a different kit if possible.

Clear the cmos.

It did not change.

Did you try a different stick ?

Inspect the cpu. From what I can see. One beep just means it boots normally. Are you sure it's just one beep?

So you were right, it does Boot normally. One of the Displayports on the gpu is broken. I switched the cable between the four ports and I got a signal, put it back in the first port and now I got a flickering screen (but only on that one port).

Thanks for the help
