is it better to get 4 8gb ram or 4 16gb ram

i am building a pc and i do not know if it is worth getting 4x16gb of ram for dual channeling, or just stay with the 4x8gb of ram.

4x8 and 4x16 means 32gb and 64gb, both with 4 sticks. The first number is the number of sticks, and the second number is the size of each of those. Just get two 16gb sticks of memory to run in dual channel if you really need 32gb RAM which you probably don't if it's a gaming PC

ok thank you for the feedback. i am 15 and this is the first time that i am trying to build my own pc and i dont really know what alot of it means. i did a few hours of research obviously but all the stuff about dual channels is completly lost with me.
