I need help fast

Deus100

I have Seinheser 6xx headphones, I can buy fioo k5 for 80 dollars or fioo k5 pro for 200 dollars, what should I choose? Is there a major difference, I just play games and watch movies.

Then your onboard audio is good enough for your use.  They really have come a long way.

You don't need anything other than the onboard audio, unless, you're an audio professional, as in you're actually mastering audio for a living, not just consider yourself an audiophile.

The Schiit Fulla has decent reviews.  So does the K5/Pro.  Didn't realize the HD6xx were 300ohm cans.  Does seem you might need an amp for that.

Most decent headphones NEED an AMP to get to their potential. Most onboard Audio solutions don't offer AMPs. If you really want good sound and your peripherals don't have included AMPs (like with wireless devices) you can't get around a dedicated soundcard or dac+amp combo.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

The k5 is only really good if your going to use the docking functionality otherwise you can just mostly ignore it. The k5 pro is awesome just not for that price. Where do you live? As you may have much better options at much better value.

Only thing I can think of that may be available to you is a Ifi Zen dac and a new balanced cable and run the headphones in blanced.aside from that the k5 pro seems to be the only option.
