Hi, I recently attempted to install a second m.2 nvme SSD in my Asus B450I mini itx mobo. As per the manual (attached pic) I'm pretty sure this config is supported with my ryzen 3600, but following reassembly my pc will get stuck at the asus "press del enter bios etc..." splash screen with the "boot" led illuminated on the motherboard. So far I have tried removing all drives and peripherals, attempting to clear cmos with the jumper pins specified in the manual as well as by removing the battery, using only one stick of ram (tried both of my sticks) and completely removing the motherboard and reattaching components outside of the case. None of this has gotten anything except the frozen splash screen to appear.

One of my friends has a spare b450 board and power supply for me to test with, but I would appreciate any advice going forward as I am not very experienced in dealing with these issues. I have also noticed a small scratch on the back of the motherboard (see pics) but in my opinion at least I don't think this could be the cause of the problem as it dose'nt appear to cut any traces or bridge any connections.

Again any advice would be much appreciated, thanks.

I found these when searching myself, at the time I assumed it should still go to bios without any drives installed and so decided to keep things simple and continue testing with 0 drives installed. Am I wrong in assuming this?
