Custom VRM Hearsink?

Go to solution Solved by SupaKomputa,

With a thermal tape, just stick it on top.

Hi, the mobo I have bought doesn’t have a heatsink on the VRM.
Can someone explain to me or link me to somewhere that shows how to put a custom heatsink on there?

If they are all on the same level plane a single larger unit can also do the job.Generally most lower end boards omit them and as long as your current setup has some incidental airflow and it isn't getting overly hot >100C it will be acceptable.

Here's some examples, some comes with thermal tape:

Alphacool GPU Heatsink 15 x 15 x 15mm | Black - 10 Pack (17155 ...
