Hi, i have recently got a gaming PC with a B360 Aurus gaming 3 motherboard, with an Intel I7 9700k CPU and Corsair 32gig Ram 3200mhz. I'm having a problem with the ram hitting its designated MHZ, I've gone into the Bios and selected XMP but my max speed is still 2666, just wondering if this is a CPU issue, a Ram issue or the motherboard cant handle the speed.

I will be very grateful if anyone can help

Ram ( Corsair CMW32GX4M2C3200C16W)

Iirc that's the maximum speed b360 can get to

Which is 2666 ( and it doesn't support memory overclocking )

That's because you're using a B360 board. To get higher than 2666MHz frequency on the memory on Intel Coffee Lake, you'd need a Z370/Z390 board.
