Unfindable RAM?

I recently purchased a prebuilt from CyberPowerPC and was hoping to upgrade the RAM to 16 GBs. I googled the code on the side l, but the closest thing I found had a different CAS latency. Would the different CAS latency make the 2 sticks not play nicely together, or would I be fine to just buy it and pop it in. The RAM stick I have is a GeIL EVO Potenza 8GB 3000mhz CL18 with 18-20-20-38 timings. The one I found is CL 16. Is my RAM just discontinued, or is it hidden somewhere on the internet?

It might cause problems and it might not 

If it worked both will be set on the worse timings so 18-20-20 in this case.

Most likely some OEM memory stick that isn't publicly sold. In ant case, get the cheapest 3000 stick you can get, I doubt it will have worse timings that what you already have.

Probably. Although, it might be possible for them to work together by putting the slower RAM in the primary slot. But I wouldn't count on it.
