Asus Strix GTX 960 4Gb and B550 Motherboards

Does anyone know if a GTX 960 (PCi Express 3.0) video card and AMD B550 motherboards (PCI Express 4.0) are compatible?

Windows 10 Pro x64 with Open Shell

Vivaldi x64, HWInfo64, Macrium Reflect Free, SoftMaker Office, XYplorer pro

Yeah pci express is backwards compatible but it just means it won't run at the gen 4 speeds

Mobo:MSI b450 tomahawk max

RAM: 32gb ddr4 lpx vengeance 3200mhz

Storage: WD sn550 1tb, Baracuda 2TB HDD (*In use), Hitachi 2tb HDD, WD 0.5tb HDD (both HDD knackered)

PSU: cxm 450

Case: Corsair Carbide Series

As long a it has a PCIe slot, it will work.

The 2080ti runs to nearly its fullest potential on PCIe gen2 so gen4 for GPUs isn’t necessary.
