No, the 4670K is not worth it if not overclocking.

If you aren't going to overclock don't bother with a K series processor, you can save some money and put it towards and SSD for your operating system.

If you buy it from microcenter the 4670k is cheaper!

Sadly, their in-store customer service is pretty bad. :/

I had an amazing experience. I got an i7 from them along with a mobo from newegg. The mobo was defective, I swapped the cpu with them and then I ended up returning it because I figured out the mobo was the issue. They let me return the cpu on day 30 and there was no restocking fee at all! They were really nice and felt bad for me when they heard how newegg screwed me over! I am not sure if you have a bad story from them as all places do, but in my 3 cpu's I have bought from them I have yet to have any issues with the parts or the service other then having to drive 30 mins there!

... It will be when you regret not spending the extra $30 for performance.

A small boost of performance that otherwise wouldn't have made much of a difference, especially not one worth $30 that could be put towards RAM, a GPU, higher quality PSU or something else...

Yeah I've had some pretty bad service with them, multiple times ha. Could just be my own store. They're products are fine, but sometimes the customer support is...ehh...

That sucks. I go to the one in Boston if that helps!

If you are not overclocking get the 4670 not the 4670K.
