Linpus Linux.. Anybody here use it?

Well, I have decided that I am going to make use of my old acer aspire one. I got it for Christmas three or four years ago.  It died a year ago.

What I want to do is put a lightweight OS on it with a small ssd as the original hard drive died.

I have little experience with any Linux OS so I am excited to able to use an operating system other than windows. The one I have chosen is Linpus Linux

Just one question though:

Does anybody have experience putting Linpus on a low powered laptop?

Do you think this has adequate power for what I am about to try?

The CPU is an Intel Atom N450

Comes with shareware/nagware, I'd avoid it, its based on fedora, so you can take that route, or some other light distro such as crunchbang or lubuntu

Arch Linux on Samsung 840 EVO 120GB: Startup finished in 1.334s (kernel) + 224ms (userspace) = 1.559s | U mad windoze..?
