Hello, New PC gamer here. Ive built a pc, and everytime I try and play fortnite, my game seems to randomly drop from 120fps to like 40-50, then back up to 120.. and my radeon software says my gpu is spiking up and down from 0% to 100%... im so confused, i need help.

Specs ? 

Do you have xmp/ docp enabled ? 

Temps ? 

Give sufficient information.

PC: Motherboard: ASUS B550M TUF-Plus, CPU: Ryzen 3 3100, CPU Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34, GPU: GIGABYTE WindForce GTX1650S, RAM: HyperX Fury RGB 2x8GB 3200 CL16, Case, CoolerMaster MB311L ARGB, Boot Drive: 250GB MX500, Game Drive: WD Blue 1TB 7200RPM HDD.

 

Peripherals: GK61 (Optical Gateron Red) with Mistel White/Orange keycaps, Logitech G102 (Purple), BitWit Ensemble Grey Deskpad. 

 

Audio: Logitech G432, Moondrop Starfield, Mic: Razer Siren Mini (White).

 

Phone: Pixel 3a (Purple-ish).

Im not sure what xmp/ docp is. im new to this stuff again, i built my pc and left it as it was other then making sure my ram was running at its rated speed. I have a ryzen 3 3200g paired with a rx 570, 2 tb hdd and 126 gb ssd.

Use hwinfo64 or cpu-z to check your current ram speeds 

Check temps

I have 16gbs of ram, and they are both running at the rated speeds. My temps are about 40-50° when idle, and around 60-70° when playing games.
