High performance loss when streaming

Hey there

 

I recently build my own pc and until now i am happy with it. I wanted to start Streaming and noticed, that it heavily destroys my performance in game (Valorant). I still have high FPS (240+ on a 240hz monitor) but it doesnt feel fluid at all. Like i would play on a 60hz monitor again.

 

My Spec:

 

AMD R7 3700x

Nvidia RTX 2070 Super

G.Skill F4 3600V16D D4 16GB

x570 - A Pro 

Streaming with OBS Studio

 

My PC should run much better while streaming. Maybe someone can help me set up my settings?

can you monitor gpu cand cpu utilisations and temperatures?

do you have ram in slots 2 and 4 and xmp enabled?

Are you streaming of x264 or nVenc?

Both yes

I tried both of them. Same results. nVenc was focus in GPU and x264 in CPU? Or something like that?

nVenc is better as there is a dedicated chip in your 2070 duper that will solely handle streaming b

Okay, set it on nVenc.

Check using CPU-Z that your RAM is running at 1800MHz.

Even just running OBS Studio without streaming (with other programs too) i feel a big performance loss.

LSt thing I can think of is using DDU (https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html) to uninstall the drivers and reinstall them.
