Seagate portable hard drive problems

Hey guys!

So i had this seagate portable hard drive for over 3 years. And now the connector that connected to the computer broke. I took it apart and it just fell off of a tiny pcb. It is 1.5mm thick. Can i use a normal 2.5" drive reader for it? Or do you know any way of fixing it? I don't really have the money to buy a card reader. So is there any way i can connect it to my MacBook Pro from early 2011? The base modell. And ro an xbox 360? i never tried connecting to an xbox.

Ohh yeah the solder join broke off. Maybe someone can reattach it. I don't really know how it works.

if your unable to resolder the part you could always get a new usb enclosure. 
i had a similar problem. i ended up going on ebay and getting a new usb 3.0 enclosure for about £10.

:D that is nice. But ebay in Hungary where i live sucks.... I mean it literely sucks... :D so i would buy it new and it is expensive for me
