My GPU is XFX RX580

I was just watching a video like I always do and suddenly out of nowhere for no reason the screen went black and the GPU fans just started spinning like crazy while making a lot of noise

This has never happened with my 1050 before

Whats the problem? im positive it will somehow happen again (I have been using it for 2 weeks)

Driver crash probably.

Did you uninstall the nVidia driver before installing the AMD one?

Look in the Event Viewer, under system logs and....hardware probably, look for Red Xs, especially if it relates to the GFX card.

Report back what you find (or screen shots of the errors)

Yes of course

Made sure nvidia was completely gone

What are your temps ?

What PSU do you have ?

Does it happen in your normal workload or only when watching a video ?

Event viewer?

Control Panel

Admin tools

Event Viewer

Shows you all kinds of logs about the goings on of your PC. Very handy when troubleshooting
