computer freezes

I built a new build some weeks ago. I have been having some trouble with the computer freezing. this has happened in multiple applications, but most of the time it is in solidworks. I use windows 8.1 64 bit and my specs are down below. what do you think is the problem

wat does your system performance say? if you are in that application? give us a screenshot of the system usage ram cpu and if even gpu. when you are in that application.

 

or just do a memtest for min 12 hours or do a cpu stress test and or gpu stress test for min 4 hours.

Doing a quick mobo check, that mobo is not a win 8.1 certificated board, so may have ram issues or other issues due to the OS, i know it sounds weird. but my mobo as well was pre win 8 and as soon as i updated to 8.1 i got freezing and blue screening. once i downgraded to win 7 again it solved the issue. 

Hopefully some one else can shed some light on it in this regard.
