SSHD USB 3.0 Not Recognised in Disk Drive 2.0

Daan._official

So I have this SSHD with 3.0 connection that doesn't seem to be recognised anymore after upgrading to windows 10. I posted this problem earlier (https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1191259-sshd-usb-30-not-recognised-in-disk-drive/?tab=comments#comment-13578356_), but now that I have a new cable it still is not recognised. It does however show up in device manager, but not in disk management. In my other post someone told me to give "it a name", but I don't know how to do that.

If anyone can help out, would be great.

Hi

You can try this, It may not work..

Do the clean install routine of windows 10

Go to section new install not the repair.

Go until you see the drive section , that is were you do the install

All the drive should be there.

Format the new SSHD .

Do not install Windows . Just quit and reboot

Hope this help
