Case Fans

I'm buying a Lian Li Case so i need 6x fans, does it matter which quality i buy ? or anything is fine , because im thinking of getting a brand called Scythe , because obviously paying  100-150$ on fans is just not okay . and the scythe 6x fans would probably cost around 50-55$~ and the Scythe is 300-1200rpm is that enough ? or there's Aigo DR12

I usually buy nice fans. You'll get a mix of better airflow, better pressure, quieter operation, and better longevity.

 

Cheap ones will do the job, though. I have no experience with Scythe.

Some fans are made to give good static pressure (for radiators), some offer high airflow (general cooling) - best to get a benchmark of how your build performs before getting any fans, in case you get the wrong type.

Is it a full, new build or a case swap-out?

@HairlessMonkeyBoy there's 120x120x17 Width and 120x120x27 width , does the width matter or is it better slim version ?!

25mm is standard width. Slim versions exist for necessity only. Get the standard.

Cheaping out on fans means less performance, more noise and lower longevity. You can get away with it when talking about case fans (never cheap out on radiator fans). 

 

My go-to case fan are the Be Quiet! Silent Wings 3 PWM (slower rpm versions). Good airflow, decent pressure, very low noise, well isolated, good PWM range. Don't know the prices in the US but I guess they're probably ~20 bucks each. That's what a good fan costs. Less than 10 bucks per fan would be a red light for me. I can't imagine those fans to have proper bearings.

 

Spending a lot on a system and cheaping out on proper cooling doesn't make much sense in my opinion.

 

2nd choice: Noctua Redux PWM fans (low rpm again).

 

You do not need rpms above 1000 revs usually. If you do, there's something wrong. You'll be running your fans on something around 400-600 usually.
