FPS Isn't Preforming Well for my Specs

Go to solution Solved by cheetocheetah,

Hi everyone, I recently built a pc around a week and a half ago with almost top of the line specs. But, it is under preforming. On Valorant I only get from 150-200 fps and on CSGO I average 110 fps. This is definitely under average for the specs I have. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Specs: MSI Mech 5700xt | Ryzen 7 2700X | 16gb Ripjaws V 3600mhz | ASUS Prime B450M | EVGA 600W BQ |

i wouldn't call a 5700xt or 2700x top of the line but if you aren't happy, csgo is heavily cpu bound. make sure nothing else is running such as recording and streaming. also what is your cooler?

PC specs:

Ryzen 9 3900X overclocked to 4.3-4.4 GHz

Corsair H100i platinum

32 GB Trident Z RGB 3200 MHz 14-14-14-34

RTX 2060

MSI MPG X570 Gaming Edge wifi

NZXT H510

Samsung 860 EVO 500GB

2 TB WD hard drive

Corsair RM 750 Watt

ASUS ROG PG248Q

Razer Ornata Chroma

Razer Firefly

Razer Deathadder 2013

Logitech G935 Wireless

if you aren't using the ssd as a cache at the very least, could be the bottleneck. maybe try cs:go on your ssd to see if it makes the difference, and go from there.

it must be 80-100% loaded ...

i think problem is power from PSU to GPU !

you have semi modular PSU so try another 8+6 pin cable or if you can try another PSU would be better.

Akinator V2 is here :D

Have you checked that your ram is running at your rated speed in dual channel? You can check this with CPU-Z.
