Better sensor, onboard memory, etc.

I'd imagine there's better mice than those though.

The costs are higher on some gaming mice than others since they usually have some benefits such as a better sensor, lower weight, more reports per second, RGB lighting, etc. Look at the product specification and feature pages for the mice you are comparing and see if the differences are worth the additional cost for you.
